How much does BallotPop cost?
$25 per election, paid when you publish and send ballots. Building and previewing your election is completely free — no credit card required to get started.
Is there a limit on how many voters I can have?
No limits. Your $25 covers unlimited voters per election — whether you have 30 members or 3,000.
What if some of my members don't have email?
No problem. Admins can enter paper ballot votes on behalf of members without email. Every manual entry is recorded in the audit trail so your election is fully documented.
Can someone vote more than once?
No. Each voter receives a unique cryptographic token that is permanently invalidated the moment their ballot is submitted. Double voting is technically impossible.
When are results revealed?
Results are hidden until the election closes. You can close it manually at any time, or set an automatic close date. There is an optional live results mode if you want to display results during voting.
What question types are supported?
BallotPop supports four types: pick one (standard race), pick up to X (multi-seat), ranked choice, and yes/no motions with pro and con panels. One election can include multiple questions of different types.
Do voters need to create an account?
No. Voters click their unique link from the email and vote — no account, no password, no app to install. The experience is designed to be one tap for members on mobile.
Is BallotPop right for HOAs, not just PTAs?
Yes. BallotPop is built for any community organization — PTAs, PTOs, HOAs, condo boards, neighborhood associations, committees, and clubs. If your group holds elections or votes on motions, BallotPop handles it.
